I don't know the kind of weekends that the desigers at HAY go on but the capacity of this bag would cater for my going away for at least a fortnight and maybe a month. If you can't pack as lightly as me (the secret to this is being prepared to wash clothes while you are away!) then maybe a weekend (with multiple outfit changes) is apposite.
Made from thick, durable cotton (50% of which is recycled cotton) the capacious bag has two different sized handles which allow it to either be slung over a shoulder or carried in your hands. There are two large external pockets and the HAY logo on both sides of the bag.
Away from being a travel bag you could equally use it as a bag for laundry - particularly that journey from washing machine to washing line, or again from washing line to wardrobe/drawers.
