A new mobile designed this year for Danish family firm Flensted by Carina Caia and Ole Flensted, Starry Night 7 is the ideal gift for star-gazers and makes a wonderful contemporary Christmas decoration. The almost 3-dimensional white stars float amongst an elegant hoop of brass wire, tipped with two shining gold orbs. The light, simple design takes your imagination to the night sky and brings with it a calm, Scandinavian vibe and a dreamy new look. The cut-out shapes in the centre of each star allow the light to pass through the mobile, adding to the tranquil play of shadows that the Starry Night 7 Mobile will provide.
Ole Flensted says of Starry Night ”Who hasn’t on a beautiful starry night, dreamed themselves away on an adventure among the stars?
