The Eva Candle Holder possesses the familiar round head and vivid use of colour reminiscent of vintage Wiinblad pieces. The striking design features alternating pale lavender and bright red stripes interspersed with neat rows of circles on a creamy yellow background. The decorative floral relief details and rosy cheeks  seen on the Candle Holders are a superb contemporary interpretation of Scandinavian folk art - a throwback to Wiinblad's original work. Using the artist's own drawings for the gentle facial features and even the pattern on the dress design, there is an authenticity and a nostalgia about these pieces which makes them so very likeable.
