The book opens with a portrait of the nation and then the different chapters concentrate on culture, design, architecture, retail, hospitality and the people. It is part guide to the country and part deep dive into the industries, culture and people that make up the country. As with everything from the Monocle stable there is more than half an eye on the visual - the book itself is a visual treat and the subjects that they pick out fro food packaging to buildings are chosen for their aesthetics.
