This set of 13 plain wooden animals is designed by Dutch designer Floris Hovers who is a graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven and who now runs a studio and workshop in the south of Holland.
Although marketed as a children's toy these wooden animals would not look out of place in a scheme for adults - maybe not as a toy but just as a joyful graphic interpretation of the form of various identifiable animals. It has some of the charm of old wooden arks and their two-by-two cargo.
The wooden animals include a horse, lion, polar bear and anteater. They come in a smart box. Not suitable for children under 36 months.
