Midnight Splash is an original second edition Linocut print by artist Megan Hall of Flotsam Prints and depicts two women jumping into water to swim by the light of the full moon. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist. This second edition features a full moon instead of a crescent moon.
Every step in the process of making the linocut, from drawing and designing, to carving and printing, is done by hand , and as such, every linocut in the edition is completely unique and may vary slightly from the illustration above.
The linocut has been inked in a dark indigo blue and then hand burnished onto special Japanese Shoji printing paper.
Printed image size is 25 x 20 cms.
