Made by Danish family run business Flensted who have been making mobiles since the 1950's.

Counterpoint was made in collaboration between Ole and Christine Kit Flensted, and Aase Flensted gave the mobile its name. As a musical term, "Counterpoint" is defined as "the combination of two or more independent melodies into a single harmonic texture in which each retains its linear character".
