Match Striker
Josh Owen is a professor of industrial design at the Rochester Institute of Technology in the USA and also runs his own design studio. This match striker and holder is made from cast iron and allows for a central vestibule for the storage of matches, a ridged surface on which you can strike the match and also a surrounding dish where you can place the spent match to cool down.
The vessel is stamped to the underside with the Areaware logo and it comes in a smart kraft brown presentation box. As well as this match striker there is also a cast iron candle holder by the same designer.
