Cotton is grown in Brazil and Peru by associations that respect people and the environment, according to fair trade principles. In Brazil, cotton is organic and agroecological, an agriculture that enriches the land after having cultivated it, enhancing the diversity of the species grown and the retention of water in the soil. In Peru, organic cotton farmers receive support during their certification, with technical and financial support to improve their production.
