Arent & Pyke is an Australian Interior Design firm that was founded by Juliette Arent and Sarah-Jane Pyke in 2007. In the introduction to the book they write that '[the building blocks of a project] are the intangibles . . . the transportive and immersive roles of colour, the creation of joy and forging of an emotional connection, the character and spirit of a house.'
The book is arranged through variuous projects that the firm has undertaken; from coastal houses to modernist structures, from a 1920s apartment to a house in a leafy Sydney suburb. All of them are beautifully styled and photographed and capable of inpiring quite fervent jealousy!
