Born in Romania in 1988, Ana Popescu is a French visual artist who studied engraving and drawing at the University of Applied Arts of Vienna, Austria. Graduating with a Masters degree in Fine Arts in 2013, Ana Popescu participated in several group exhibitions such as at the Griffin Gallery in London in 2015, at the 21st Haus in Vienna in 2016 and at the Wittgensteinhaus in Vienna in 2017. Since 2013, Ana Popescu has been working on the theme of space and its perception. Fascinated by the combination of simple forms and strong colors, Ana Popescu likes to create summery, realistic and fixed imagery.
