Kilim is a Turkish word that means woven textile, it is used throughout the Arab world where we make flat woven carpets. Like the Berber carpets, Kilim carries a strong cultural identity and represents the tribe in which it is woven. Thus, its patterns, colors and wool vary according to its geographical origin.
