The book is arranged by season, starting in spring with a celebration of the foodstuffs that arrive thereabouts: rhubarb, purple sprouting broccoli and organic Amalfi lemons among them. It features recipes for broad bean crostini, chickpea, feta and orange salad and nettle risotto. Through the other seasons there are further tempting recipes for aubergine parmigiana, apricot frangipane tart, caramelized fennel and jerusalem artichoke soup.
As you would expect from such stylish authors the layout and photography of the book are suitably seductive.
