HAY

This book is edited by Kelsey Keith and is the first published overview and history of the Danish design company HAY. Founded by Mette and Rolf Hay in 2002 the company has grown into a design force; a company that commissions and works alongside some of the most exciting contemporary designers to bring homewares, accessories and furniture to a more accessible end of the market.

Some of the products that have come out of the HAY stable have become instant classics, such as the palissade collection of outdoor furniture by the Bouroullec brothers. The book gives an overview of the products that have been produced between 2002 and the current day. They have also collaborated with a number of brands including Ikea. Sonos and Cos to further expand the reach of their designs.

The book also highlights some of the relationships that the company has formed with designers and spotlights those collaborations.
