Jeans made from a beautiful 12.5 oz. Japanese selvage denim. Slim fit with tapered legs and a mid rise. Features indigo embroidery on the back pocket, jacron patch, zip fly and distressed silver details. The original denim for these jeans was found on the west coast of the United States and dates back to the gold mining days. With some 120 years on its back, it's safe to assume it was somewhat timeworn. Once it arrived at Kurabo, it was analysed in detail in order to recreate the look of denim as it came off the loom. Known for its attention to detail, Kurabo was probably one of the best placed to accomplish this task. The company reproduced the structure of the yarn, the colour of the weft and dyed the warp with 12 indigo dips.
