Graduate of the superior school of applied arts Duperr in 1985, Fabienne Jouvin lives and works in Paris and the Provence.

As an artist and designer, she has a passion for mixing cultural designs ever since she roamed the world from Cuba to China.

By immersing herself in the Asian culture, she was able to surf on the talents and abilities of the local craftsmen. The results are fabulous pieces of art. Fabiennes designs offer a perfect balance of French style and Asian art that is modern yet timeless. She is known for reinventing, in particular, the ancient skill of cloisonné with the use of bold, vibrant designs and colours. Cloisonn is the art of decorating metalwork objects.

Such as this beautiful on-of-a-kind cloisonné jar. It consists of a copper base on which a copper pattern is then manually applied, creating a unique pattern. This piece has an attribution mark.
