Detalles del producto

Alex Monroe, a jewellery designer from England, grew up in Suffolk surrounded by the natural beauty of fields, rivers, plants, and creatures. After training at the Sir John Cass School of Art in London, he began designing intricately beautiful and whimsical jewellery, drawing inspiration from his lush surroundings. Since establishing his brand in 1986, Monroe's unique and distinctive designs have earned him many admirers, including celebrities. He has collaborated with the Victoria & Albert Museum to create a limited edition commemorative locket and has worked on a variety of diverse projects, including designing an 18ct gold poppy for the British Legion, a range for Kew Gardens, a bottle for classic British perfume makers Penhaligons, and a limited edition ring and necklace for Burt's Bees to support the British Beekeepers Association.

Throughout his success, Monroe has remained true to his objectives. He refuses to compromise quality craftsmanship by producing his jewellery in a factory. Instead, each piece is handmade in his London studios by skilled craftspeople. Monroe always creates the original piece by hand in sterling silver during the creative process, giving his work its unique signature and stunning organic detailing. His jewellery is charmingly quirky, sometimes cute, always very feminine, and highly wearable.
