Our throws are multi-purpose coverings of the Istanbul-based decoration brand '3rd Culture', which describes its products as 'Inspired by the World, Created in Istanbul'.
The patterns of their throws are derived from traditional symbolic languages from all over the world and therefore carry a deep meaning within themselves.

The traditional patterns of the Duafe throws originate from the West African 'Andinkra' symbolic language, which dates back to the 12th century. In this blanket the symbols duafe (wooden comb) and chintemani circles were used. Duafe stands for beauty and femininity, chintemani circles for power, force and courage.
