Autumn in Japan is often associated with vivid red leaves, but it’s also the season when golden ginkgo trees fill the streets with their brilliant hues from October to December. This design captures the elegance of ginkgo leaves, arranged in a gentle, repetitive pattern. The deep, muted purple background highlights the soft yellow of the leaves, creating a striking contrast.
Each Tenugui towel is carefully hand-dyed by artisans using the traditional CHUSEN technique, ensuring that every piece is uniquely crafted with precision and care.
