Chromefree leather, tanned cattle leather without chrome, is flexible and light. Coming from farms located south of Brazil (Rio Grande Do Sul), it undergoes an innovative tanning process during which no dangerous chrome, heavy metal or acid is used. By simplifying the tanning process, the use of chemicals and energy is limited. Water consumption is reduced by around 40% and that of 80% salt. After tanning, the water is recyclable.
