Description: The Tatlin Vase was designed by Ivar Ålenius Björk (1905-1978) for a no longer active Swedish company called Ystad-Metall. Ystad-Metall produced a large number of classic design items from the 1920s – 1960s. Skultuna has secured the rights to reproduce this iconic vase.
Ivar Ålenius Björk worked as a sculptor and is mainly know for his bust portraits. His public ornaments can be seen in many Swedish towns.
The vase is made in brass and consist of three cylindrical pipes with an angled opening at the top. Pipes has been set on a massive base plate made in brass.
Care instructions: Over time brass will oxidize and get darker stains. Do not try to remove the oxidization from the inside of the vase. On the outside you can polish the vase when needed.
