This 3 piece Home Chef Set includes the award winning Signature 11cm santoku knife with a wide scalloped blade for precision slicing and dicing, an all purpose 12cm kitchen knife with a straight blade for slicing, dicing and chopping, and an 18cm cook's knife with a curved blade for chopping and rocking cutting actions.

Cook’s knives are a multi-purpose kitchen tool, and a great starter knife if you are only intending to buy one. Their curved blades allow for a two step chop and rock action, ideal for meat (raw or cooked) and hard vegetables as well as herbs, nuts and salads and for crushing garlic into a paste. The scallops on the Santoku blade create a pocket of air between the blade and the food, which reduces friction and helps to prevent the food from sticking to the blade allowing you to cut things more finely and precisely; suitable for meat, fish, fruits and vegetables. The kitchen knife is a great all rounder allowing you to cut up or slice anything you need to in the kitchen with ease. All three knives have a Japanese-style blade edges are at a 15° angle and the knife has an ergonomically shaped handle for comfort, balance and to minimise fatigue in use.
