This rosé balsamic condiment with sweet flavors of apples and peaches will awaken your taste buds. It is made from white balsamic vinegar and the grape must used to make it. It is produced in the Emilia Romagna region near Modena. It is made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. How is the pink color of this vinegar obtained? The balsamic vinegar used is originally white. Because it is made by directly pressing the grapes. All grapes have white pulp, it is the skin of the grape which will give its color to the juice extracted by pressing. So the longer the juice is left in contact with the skin, the more color the juice will take on. For this balsamic condiment, the white balsamic vinegar is kept for a while with the grape must. Grape must is made up of grape skins that are recovered after pressing. This causes the vinegar to take on a delicate pinkish tint.
