Marcella is an artist who is inspired by nature and her surroundings living in rural Suffolk in a 16thc thatched cottage. In her work home takes centre stage and she is inspired by time spent pottering around the cottage, cooking, reading, gardening and walking in the beautiful countryside. She uses her interiors and the everyday objects for inspiration. Simple chores and taking time to be still and present in the moment are reflected in her work. There is great beauty in simple things and celebrating living slowly.
