The citrus peels both add nutritional properties to the soil and protect the rice from insects. This rice variety "Himenorin" is a new variety developed by a researcher in Ehime prefecture who has been studying rice varieties for over 16 years. The rice has an elegant aroma that also smells wonderful as it cools.
