This hand-embroidered Jan Constantine small Union Jack cushion is in classic navy pure wool. It's a take on Jan's original, larger version Union Jack cushion. It retains all the luxury and feel of that first cushion which was ‘the original’ Union Jack cushion, created and hand-embroidered by Jan in 2006. This small Union Jack cushion is called the Crunch Cushion because it was initially made in 2008 in response to the Credit Crunch as a more affordable version of the larger cushion. It was an immediate success and still remains as one of the bestselling cushions in the Iconic British Classic Collection.

The cushion is handmade in the old-fashioned way, using traditional embroidery skills to create a stunning and modern patriotic pillow.  Red and cream wool stripes are appliquéd onto a navy wool base to form the Union Jack design. Hand-embroidered with cross-stitch with a heart in the centre of the cushion, blanket stitched in cream.  The cushion is fastened on the back with two mother of pearl buttons.
