Isle of Auskerry has been a family run business on the remote Orkney Islands for over 35 years. They raise Northronaldsay sheep, a rare, seaweed-eating breed, that there are only two flocks left of on Orkney. This original ‘Isle of Auskerry’ design has a wheatsheaf and lacy cable stitch and plaited tassle finish. Unlike knitted hats that ‘hug’ the head this hat is very feminine and drapes beautifully to suit all shapes of face. This kit is suitable for people with some knitting experience. Each kit contains: -bamboo needles - 100g ball of Isle of Auskerry Aran yarn - Cable needle -full instructions.
