Dedicated to using natural materials, Iris Hantverk crafts the brush’s handle and pan from oil treated beech whilst the bristles are expertly fashioned from horse hair. Praised for its soft and pliable texture, horse hair is also sturdy, durable and has the perfect degree of elasticity that makes it the perfect material for brushes.

Founded in 1900, Stockholm-based brush makers Iris Hantverk has been designing handsome, high quality kitchen and bathroom accessories for over 100 years. From their studio in Enskede, visually-impaired artisans craft brushes in line with old Swedish tradition.
