Bone China Tea Bowl
This bowl is another variant in the range of bone china cups and mugs that we stock by Freight. They are all made from bone china and are made in Stoke on Trent, the historic home of the ceramics industry in the UK.
This broad shaped bowl is a handle-less version of the breakfast cup that they make. While it is suited to drinking tea or hot chocolate from it could, of course, double up as a straight forward bowl for a pudding of ice cream, sorbet, crumble etc. If you were using it as a tea bowl you could really warm your hands on the bowl of the cup while you are drinking from it.
As with the other bone china pieces from this company this bowl manages to be classically elegant but modern. The ribbed sides hark back to Wedgwood production from the 1960s.
