This flower arranging kit for children gives you the supplies and instructions to make two Ikebana inspired flower arrangements - one using dried flowers and one using fresh. We recommend that this kit can be used with children of all ages - my 2 year old son loves it! If you think your child would prefer the more advanced adult version of this kit then go to the Ikebana kit for older ages.For the dried flower arrangement we supply, step - by- step instructions, a selection of beautiful dried flowers, a colourful metal bucket, floristry foam, moss and a plastic flower frog. For your fresh arrangement we have included instructions, fresh flower foam, moss and plastic flower frog. The flowers for the fresh arrangement will need to be foraged, however this is all part of the Ikebana experience and really adds to the adventure of flower arranging. Flowers Vermilion is a floral design studio based in Glasgow. It was started by Terri who, for the 15 years prior to starting Flowers Vermilion, worked for florists based in the New Forest and London, and as an artist making large scale installations, paintings and sculptures. She studied Fine Art and exhibited widely before in recent years turning to work full time with flowers. Terri has always had an interest in horticulture and grows as many flowers for the business as as she can in her garden and on her allotment. Terri's style is bold, playful and influenced by a wide range of historical styles.
