It is important to note that the cuckoo automatically sings for 16 hours and is silent for 8 hours. If you want your clock to be silent at night, you must insert the batteries for the first time, bearing in mind that at 4 pm it will go silent and 8 hours later it will start singing again. For example, if it is 7:45 when you insert the batteries, it will ring for the next 16 hours 8:00, 9:00, etc., ringing the last time at 23:00 and remaining silent until 8:00 again.
