A Fair Trade piece woven in Bangladesh

Jute is derived from a fast growing reed-like plant, that loves the soil & climate conditions of Bangladesh. Once cut, the plant stems are washed and hung up to dry before being further processed into the thread used to weave our mats and coasters.
