The company that we buy fabric from has recently introduced this Ramie fabric which looks and behaves like linen but instead of being made from flax it is made from a member of the nettle family. It also doesn't require as much water as linen does in its manufacture.

The napkins are hand sewn by us in Ludlow and the only adornment is a Black Bough label stitched into the hem.

The off white colour means that they don't resemble starched bright white napkins and have a relaxed feel about them.
