This illustration shows one of the original characters, mimi the shiba, as a waiter at a fictional ramen restaurant called menya y!s . She greets new customers with the familiar japanese word いらっしゃいませ ( irasshaimase ) which translates to “welcome!” she wears a traditional maekake (apron) featuring the restaurant’s logo.
