Tonko is a character inspired by Japanese pop culture. He is a unique human-sized kaiju, which is unusual for Japanese giant monsters. Known as the Ramen King, he is loved by all for his love of ramen and is the centre of a lunch battle among all the ramen restaurants in town. His name, Tonko, comes from the tonkotsu ramen broth.
