TOILETPAPER was founded in 2010 by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari with the artistic direction of Micol Talso as an image-based magazine.
Since the first issue in June 2010, he has created a world that displays ambiguous narratives and troubling imagination. Always with his peculiar sense of humor, surrealism, and particular aesthetics.
As its creators state, “Sooner or later all magazines end up in the toilet.”
TOILETALEX PAPERPRAGER is the new edition of Toiletpaper magazine, born from a collaboration with the American artist Alex Prager. You'll lose yourself in the vibrant dialogue between visionary minds, where the ironic style of toilet paper meets the dark humor of Alex Prager. It is a parade of familiar yet strange images, suggesting a timeless world located somewhere between dream and reality.
As you scroll through the pages you will feel like you are falling backwards, with a wonderful feeling of freedom and infinity.
