To fill with lamp oil and light the lamp:
The kerosene lamp must be switched off and cold when refilled.
- Remove the burner pipe and unscrew the burner.
- Fill with lamp oil, about 2/3 of the container. Feel free to use a funnel for less waste.
- Screw the burner back on and let the wick soak for 20-30 minutes so the wick gets wet.
- Turn on the lamp and adjust the flame so that it does not get too high by turning the wick up or down
- Reinsert the burner pipe
