Product details

Printwork Wood Puzzle Archimedes is perhaps the oldest known mathematical puzzle, developed by the famous Greek mathematician Archimedes about 2200 years ago. The puzzle consists of 14 pieces of various shapes and the goal is to combine the pieces forming a square. In 2003 the mathematician Bill Cutler determined, with the help of a computer, that there are 536 unique ways of assembling it in a square form. However, it is difficult to find even only one. How many do you think you can find it?

When not used, the puzzle is in itself a decorative object that enhances any space in which you choose to place it.

\- The structure is made of lacquered MDF and the FSC certified pine wood pieces.

\- Width 27, height 27, depth 2 cm

\- weight 0.5 kg
