A pre-cut and foldable postcard created by illustrator Susumu Yamaoka, lover of Japanese culture. Its mission: to tell the past in a modern and creative way. Composed of a three-dimensional Japanese world, which is revealed when opened, these pop-up cards present favorite streets and typical buildings of ancient Japan. All his creations have been drawn by his hands and take you into a world teeming with details to discover. You can line up different buildings to create a cityscape. These cards can be mailed and/or framed for enjoyment. Discover the other Okoshi Bumi postcards. Atelier Kumo's opinion: bring a Japanese touch to your interior! Dimensions: height: 14.8 cm, width: 10.4 cm Model: station building left part Illustrator: Susumu Yamaoka Manufacture: Japanese History of the card: when I made this, it was around the time where the railway boom began. It was a lot of fun doing it, remembering my childhood. This station is a fictional Higurashi station. Bus stops, kiosks, mailboxes, flyers, advertising signs, etc. Various souvenirs are packed in the station. This is one of my favorite works.
