URSPRUNG is a moment full of energy. An impulse that sets everything in motion. It is the starting point of a species, the turning point of a generation, the trigger for a change that was previously unimaginable. New possibilities, new perspectives. Everything starts with the ORIGIN.

It bursts forth with a peppery freshness, entwined with the herbaceous, fruity essences of clary sage and elderberry. Almost at the same time, the sweet, earthy warmth of orris root spreads out and slowly settles in our consciousness. Balsamic and leathery waves expand the base, while the woody and ambery notes fuse in the depths of oakmoss.

URSPRUNG is a fine fragrance project by OAK with the perfumer Geza Schön.

Geza Scön is a German master perfumer based in Berlin. He trained at Haarmann Reimer and has worked with Diesel, Ormonde Jayne, FCUK, Biehl Parfumkunstwerke, and Boudicca. Schön founded Escentric Molecules, a perfume line that focuses on single molecules, in 2006\. He received the Outstanding Artist Award for Interdisciplinarity in 2016, then, in 2017, the Sadakichi Award for Experimental Work with Scent, together with Wolfgang Georgsdorf for "Osmodrama Smeller 2.0".
