A surface knit is made from GOTS certified wool yarn. This is violent under the influence of heat, water and mechanical energy. Walken is a controlled felt process. The walk gives the fabric a closed surface. Wollwalk naturally has a water -repellent function. The knitted fabric remains elastic despite the walking. The sustainable jackets and coats of long ores are manufactured in their own GOTS-certified clothing operation in Jiaxing, China.

All products from Langerchen are produced in our own factory near Shanghai (China) by around 80 employees. The factory was checked by the BSCI-Initative and is also certified. Both claims set a high work standard and fair working conditions along the production chain. This includes fair wages, health and pension insurance as well as further training.
