This piece is a representation of blackbirds, produced in faience, glazed and decorated by hand. The blackbirds are enhanced by two claws casted in natural or oxidised brass, according to the manual process of casting in a sand mould. The pieces are handmade and may vary slightly.

There’s an old tradition that says blackbirds take away people’s souls in their beak, just like storks bring babies, only the other way round. But that is not what I want to talk about.
