It has been appliquéd and hand-embroidered with fine chain-stitch in antique gold thread highlighting the detail of the cherubic face and wings.
The angel is surrounded by stars, some of them embellished with sparkling gold sequins and the edges of the cushion are finished with gold blanket stitch. The back of the cushion is in dark navy blue felt wool and fastens with two mother of pearl buttons.
