**Guillermo Forchino: Art, Humor and Innovation in Design Figurines**

Since 1980, **Guillermo Forchino**, an artist born in Rosario, Argentina, has stood out for the creation of unique works inspired by the world of comics and caricature. His career began at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Rosario and was enriched with three years of studies in restoration and artistic conservation at the Sorbonne in Paris, where he perfected classical techniques and traditional materials.

**An artistic journey full of creativity**

After studying in Paris, Forchino returned to Argentina to direct the art restoration atelier at the Museum of Fine Arts of Rosario. During this period, he began to create original figures, using bands of cloth, wax and papier-mâché colored with natural pigments.

Since the end of the 1980s, Forchino has chosen **polyester resin (polyresin)** as the main material for his creations. His works, full of humor and refined details, portray comic scenes and bizarre situations: families on vacation in overloaded cars, old American pick-ups with exhausted passengers, and means of transport such as boats, planes and motorcycles. Some pieces even include a floating bathtub, reflecting the uniqueness of her style.

**Collaborations and global distribution**

Since 2003, a collaboration between Forchino and VMM has made his works accessible on a global scale through **handcrafted and hand-painted replicas**. These reproductions, supervised directly by the artist, are available in limited and numbered editions. Each piece is accompanied by a **certificate of authenticity** and a unique number, making it a collector's item.

Biography:

Dr. José Batle was a recognized expert in his field. His always accurate diagnoses saved the lives of hundreds of people and earned him the admiration of high society. Everything was going perfectly until the day when the most famous actress in Hollywood, the splendid Marilyn Hayworth, arrived in his studio, the victim of a sprained little finger.

Without wasting a moment, Dr. Batle had the patient remove her clothes to ensure that she had no other complications anywhere in her body. After a thorough and detailed examination, he confirmed that... he had fallen deeply in love.

The diva thanked him for all his diligent attention and left the studio leaving an evocative camellia scent in the air. Since that day, Dr. Batle never stops thinking about the great Marilyn, hoping that she will dislocate another finger so he can perform a new exam, this time even more detailed.
