This is a ceramic fig, a realistic reproduction of this summer fruit. These pieces are made one by one from white Portuguese clay and then painted and glazed in the oven, these look like early figs, the first fruits from the fig tree. Each ceramic fig is made individually and differences in shape, size and colour may occur, these are happy accidents. We work with an artisan in the south of Spain near Sevilla who makes these. These pieces are hollow and along with the strawberries are one of the smallest pieces we offer, please check measurements.
