Entertaining a crowd? Serve them with our colourful enamelware collection. 12 oz Splatterware Mug Product Materials: Plastic-free Packaging: Recycled Production: Ethically sourced Since 1977, Crow Canyon have been crafting enamelware by hand. A skilled maker hand-dips the steel with multiple coats of porcelain, then fires it in a kiln before applying the colour by hand. Each Splatterware piece is hand-painted by skilled artisans, making each piece a unique work of art. Each rim is hand-rolled with food-safe enamel; bringing traditional craft to the modern table. Made from steel coated in porcelain, enamelware is naturally nonstick. It’s easy to clean, lightweight and long-lasting—even when it chips, it only adds to its charm. No harsh chemicals, just hand-dipped porcelain that’s easy to clean and holds up to anything. Oven safe up to 270 degrees, dishwasher safe, freezer friendly, chemically safe, not suitable for microwaves. Lemon juice can remove stains from enamelware products, such as tea stains on mugs. Soaking the products in warm soapy water will help remove baked on food, but avoid using abrasive sponges or brushes as this may scratch the surface. Coating your pans in a light layer of oil before cooking can help with cleaning after use. If my enamelware chips can I still use it?Yes. Just like any other ceramic, the outer porcelain layer can chip if dropped, revealing the steel beneath it. When this happens the steel below naturally oxidises and the enamelware remains safe to use. Plus, it gains a little more character.
