Woven from natural jute fibers by skilled artisans, a tied set of 4 jute mats in lovely, tranquil Limpid Green. No two pieces are exactly alike, they are suitable for everyday dining and fit beautifully with both contemporary and traditional homes. Jute is a natural insulator so it is great for protecting tables from hot plates and dishes. The jute is sustainably grown and harvested in Bangladesh, the jute capital of the world, then handwoven in predominantly female cooperatives. The mats are 270 mm D, 6 mm thick Wipe clean only Fair Trade made.
