The boxy ADESH felt pouch is ideal for storing small electrics, charger cables, headphones and small accessories to keep your possessions safe and surfaces clear.
Dimensions: L21xW10xD4.5cm.
Care instructions: Spot clean with damp cloth. Do not submerge in water. Treat with care.
Carefully hand-felted from 100% raw sheep wool with soap and water. The felt is made in sheets or moulded round a wooden resist, dried in the sun on the workshop roof and then hand-stitched in the workshop. The shades of grey, brown and cream are completely natural, while other colours are produced using azo-free dyes. Wool is a natural insulator, with high breathability, and it resists odours due to its natural antibacterial properties. Wool is one of the most sustainable fabrics in existence; renewable and biodegradable, it requires relatively little water for its production. This wool is mulesing free. The leather is sourced from a small family tannery in Kolkata and road-freighted to Kathmandu in bulk, to be used for all AQ leather and suede products; all chemicals used in the process are contained and reprocessed within the water treatment facility on site. Leather is the traditional material for 3rd wedding anniversary gifts.
Handmade by a small Nepali workshop affiliated with the Nepal Leprosy Trust, which employs marginalised people, giving them opportunities through work. Aura Que have worked with the team since 2006 developing new products, improving skills and providing equipment for the workshop. As a World Fair Trade Organization certified member, the workshop gives its employees a fair living wage, health care benefits and monthly contributions to their children's school fees. To help increase work opportunities for the small felting team of women at the workshop, we developed a range of felted accessories. AURA QUE products are individually handcrafted and the unique story behind each AURA QUE product enhances its charm!
