After hundreds of years, the imaginary of the Japanese has been filled with supernatural creatures, monsters called Yôkai, which we often found in the universe of sleeves.
They serve to give a name and shape to all bizarre things difficult to explain. For example, it would be said that a tsunami has been caused by Bakekujira, the ghost whale, the avenging spirit of a whale that was killed. A jealous woman they have cheated can become a threatening monster. A fox that has been injured by a hunter will become a kitsune and burn the house of his aggressor ...
The character of the Yôkai is never black or white. They are rarely completely good or bad. They are always between one thing and the other. Sometimes they are nice and benevolent and often terrifying!
