Our pullover capsule is entirely made by the house of Saint James in their workshop located in Normandy, just a short distance from Mont-Saint-Michel. Their history began in 1850 with the first textile spinning mill founded in the town of the same name. It supplied the haberdashers and hosiery shops of the region with wool. In 1889, Léon Legallais, director of the spinning mill, wanted to create clothes for Norman and Breton sailors. The company then concentrated on the manufacture of knitwear, more particularly pullovers and cardigans. Saint James is now famous for its iconic sailor's jumper, the quality of which is recognised throughout France. Labelled a Living Heritage Company, Saint James perpetuates the French artisanal tradition in textile manufacturing. Yarn control, knitting and assembly are all essential stages practiced at Saint James. It is for all these reasons that we have decided to collaborate with this prestigious French brand, in order to offer you a unique piece marked by their traditional know-how and made in France.
